So Shagged....
Was watching the news just now as a was doing my stuff..CNN's special report on tsunami aftermath..though those devastating images have been played over and over again across so many channels, it still gets to me..ok..i noe u r gonna say i feel too much or wat..but it's pretty sad to c all those pple suffering for something they dun even deserve..why is it always those who exploits the nature gets richer..but whenever nature fights back..the poorer ones always get the worst hit? It's so unfair..
CNN's special report featured a few of the journalists who have been sent to the various tsunami hit areas to report news all had their own stories to say..there was one..who went to Sri Lanka..said she was touched by the locals..especially when she went visiting to the orphanage..there was communication breakdown..but the kids knew her purpose in coming..and volunteered to show her ard despite tt barrier in language..when the lunch truck came..the kids rush to the lunch truck, not bcoz they were anxious bout their food..but it was bcoz they wanted to make sure the reporter had a lunchbox herself..it's heart wrenching to see those suffering kids still caring bout the pple ard them..pple who weren't even affected by the Tsunami..they are the ones who need the help most..yet they still place others b4 them..wat shocked the reporters most..was how orderly things were when the lunch truck could not provide enuff food..the villagers din turn things ugly or create a scene..they merely said :"it's ok..we dun haf it today..we will eat ours tml"
These are words coming out from villagers who have never had proper education..yet they can be so calm and gracious at this pt of time..we..such educated pple living in the concrete jungle..have never displayed such virtues..We ought to be ashamed of ourselves.
Oh great it's 3am and I have morning class. Good night all.
