My perception of SMU in its current state
活的是行尸走肉
死的是无属幽魂
生死无别
同是凄凉
1st line: Those who are living, are like walking zombies
I believe many of the SMU pple can relate to that. Despite having heartbeats and still flesh and blood, we r vv much in a 'zombie' mode. Pale, weak, has hideous dark rings and has the tendency to prey on notes, textbooks and last min Essence of Course guides.
2nd line: Those who haf passed away, are like souls who has no place to belong
Those who have died under the pressure of the SMU curriculum, despite having nth to do in school or is extremely unproductive in the school compound, is still found to loither around the campus. Like souls who has no homes, only to loither around the place they died.
3rd line: There's no difference between being alive and being dead
When the living are walking zombies and the dead are wandering souls, there is no difference between living and dying.
4th line: Both states are equally sorrowful
Since being dead or alive has no difference, both states are similarly sad.
God, SMU exam period has certainly got the better of me. Incase u r wondering, yes the 4 lines of chinese were composed by me. Sad periods always gif me inspirations.
