Shanghai Trip (Nov 2015) - Day 4
Day 4 - similarly, we slept in and only left the house around noon. Hur sloth life for the win.

We opted for lunch at a Japanese restaurant near his place. The serviced apartment he stays at is part of a mixed-use development so the supermarket and most living facilities are in the vicinity.
I was starting to develop some heatiness, which translates to some gum-ache . I blame it on the cold weather which usually reduces your ability to tell if you are thirsty or dehydrated.
We headed out to the so-called Xiaomi flagship store (小米之家) located at XuJiaHui. Before we left the restaurant, the temperature was around 10 degrees. While we were to our destination, the temperature dropped drastically to 7 degrees
I was more prepared than the boy for the cold (because I'm extremely afraid of cold and tend to overdress ) and I must say he suffered a little whenever the wind started to blow!
The flagship store was so disappointing! There wasn't a lot of stock available and the display area was tiny too I wanted to get earphones for my parents and they didn't have a single colour in stock . The boy managed to get this wifi-amplifier stick though.
We spent a much shorter time in Xiaomi store than expected. Hahaha. So that meant we have more time to spend at Decathlon! It was a quite a walk from the train station and the boy was somewhere wary that I would complain (because I was so upset about walking in the heat for so long when we were in Hangzhou during my June trip) I proved him wrong and was extremely well-behaved throughout the whole walk
We walked for almost 30 minutes (which is short by China's standard) and reached Decathlon!
Mainly because it was a weekday afternoon, the outlet was not crowded at all. Which was perfect!
Their selection for any type of sports apparel is amazing. They had an ENTIRE aisle just for female hiking shoes and another full aisle just for female running shoes Any sports fanatic will go crazy here. Hahaha.
The boy has been talking about getting a skateboard or scooter (?) when he gets back to Singapore so he can skate from his home or our future home to the MRT station
I said no .Because it's a waste of money and it's not a necessity.
He found a corner in Decathlon that sells a huge range of these skating stuff and reduce to a little child at the sight of them
Still no buying
By the time we left Decathlon it was 4ish pm and the temperature has dropped another degree. The weather app also has a warning message on sudden drop in temperatures in the next few hours and also the following day.
We hurried to JingAn Temple area because I was meeting my ex-colleague for dinner. She made a reservation at 齐民市集 - it's owned by a Taiwanese who brings in organic food (from meat to all sorts of vegetables).
If you get a chance to go there, do order their beancurd dessert! It was really good
By the time dinner was over, we were so stuffed and it was also very late. We bade each other goodbye and headed home.
There wraps up my Day 4 in Shanghai!
