Taiwan MOE is so terrible

I was just surfing the net today and came across this piece of news from Taiwan.<

A 15 yr old boy got his left eye blinded while attending Design & Tech class. It was his first class. The student had mentioned that the teacher did not inform them they need goggles for class and allow them to operate machines without the technical goggles. The school denied of coz. But the rest of the class and, in fact, the entire level confessed that, the teachers really do not inform or even warn them of the need to wear goggles.

The school has refused to take up the responsibility and insisted that it was because the 15 yr old boy was playful and got himself into trouble. His blindness has nothing to do with the school.

Quoted from the principal: " Just because he got himself blind in our school doesn't fault us for anything bout not warning him to wear the goggles. it's common knowledge. If the risk of eye injury require our students to wear goggles, does it mean that we have to let them wear bullet-proof vest too since they run the risk of poking themselves in the stomach?"

Gosh. Wat a shitty reply can. The family had lodged a complaint towards their MOE, but the authorities are pressing all charges down. Protecting the school, in their case, seemed more important.
