Bye bye my 20%
Ok not that the above line has anything to do with the main gist of the entry but I have this habit of counting days ever since I had my surgery. It's like reaching a milestone everyday. Everyday something gets better and heals. From day one where I was wired shut to slowly opening my mouth to getting one index finger and now I can open my mouth up to 2 fingers. It's great and nice to know that the body is functioning and healing well.
And I am so amazed.....that I can tahan 23 days of liquid+soft diet. And having to live with brushing my teeth with a baby toothbrush(mind you, the size of the bristles is like one tooth size?), not opening my mouth too big, not being able to luff too loud, and having to mumble away like I was talking properly. wow, 23 days. It seemed only a few days ago when I was just out of hospital. Time flies.
Oh ya, I forgot, the main gist of the entry. Oh how easily I get carried away. Hahaha...
Had my FIIM midterm this morning. Screwed is the only word I can use here. That paper. Gives a whole new meaning to the word "chui". Her ppt slides, the textbook and the examples she gave, (she didn't give any sample papers coz she's a new prof. Thanks to Yunjia, I had access to some of Prof Ben Koh's papers but it was totally different to the things taught by my dear FIIM prof.) were all so different from the paper she set today lo.
I guess most of us had a rude shock.
Bye my 20%. I can so see it fly away.
Oh, my uncle is coming le. He is coming over to see whether I am still as swollen as the last time he saw me which was 2nd day of the surgery. Hahaha... I hope he won't say it's the same. Hahahah
I asked the OS the other day when will the swellings totally go off. He said the max swellings from the op will go off within one month of the surgery. But the remaining swellings esp ard the nose and cheeks area (since my bones were fractured at that area) will prob take 2 months or so to totally go off.
Aw man.
