Of shitty heels, long train rides and nonsense from Lionel

Had morning class yesterday. As usual, I was so frigging lost in FI investments class. I can NEVER see my career going that direction. EVER. And I learned, quite a number of people in class are pretty lost too.

Boy A: "Eh..you understand what he talking about?"
Boy B: "I dunno leh! He writes everything across the 6 boards first, then we copy like crazy. Then still have to catch what he's talking at bullet speed.."
Boy A: "You know when you are trying hard to copy, then you cannot focus on what he says. When you focus on what he says..then you cannot copy! Argh."
Boy B: "Yea! And then when you think you understand when you were listening to him..and then you try to write it down..then you realise..you understand nothing."

HAHA. My exact sentiment. Lol.

Prof went through Assignment #7...

Prof: "Ok Qn 1. It was phrased beautifully. So I guess we don't have to go through it. Qn 2 then."
Class: -______-||

Don't everyone just love him. Haha.

Was dressed in formal business wear since I had to go for a verbal and reasoning test for one of the companies I applied to. Geez. Hate walking around in formal wear, make up and heels :S

Class ended early as usual (and that probably being the only reason why I like the class..haha). Took a train down to Woodlands. It was such a long journey I finished half my book lo. Geez. And to think it was from City Hall! Imagine I set off from my place :S

I was early. Almost an hour early actually XD. Hahaha. But still went in to register because the sun was too blazing hot outside and it's always better to be early than late :D

My pass:
Nice.

I ended up sitting in the lobby with another guy, who was a graduate from NTU. And then subsequently, many came. And many were from NTU -_-. I was grossly outnumbered. Hahaha. Most were engineering students. I seemed to be the only Economics and Finance kid around :S

We went in to the training room for the 2 tests and it lasted 2 hours. We had an interactive session with one of the previous graduate from their trainee program. He was really funny and covered basically most of what we need to know about the program.

Did a time check: 3.25pm. Time to set off to Tampines to give tuition at 7pm. I love standing at the Woodlands platform:
Very niceeeeee

When I reached Bedok, it was only 4.30pm. So I decide to go home first. I need to change those shitty heels. Haha.

I dashed home, even though I have enough time to even go for a proper meal before going for tuition. But I haven't loan new books for Lionel :S So I dashed home, changed out of my formal outfit, just keeping the formal top so as to save my mum from washing too many clothes. Haha.

Pulled a white racer-back over my pink formal shirt, white shorts and I was ready to go XD

Mum: "What kind of outfit is that?!"
Me: "Anyhow wear outfit lo."

Ok what...it has a preppy feel...HAHA.

Couldn't be bothered to dig for my slipper, I just took out the nearest pair of Kitty heels I could find.

Man, choice of footwear was wrong right from the start.

By the time I alighted at Tampines Station, it was already cutting into the back of my ankle la. I limped to Guardian to buy plasters. Didn't help much :S Limped to Tampines Library (which was such a long walk from the station..omg) to return the books I loaned for Lionel. And then limped all over the children's section, trying to find the books that wasn't too tough to read but interesting enough to catch his attention.

I think I make a good future mum. HAHA.

Got him "Just the right stripes" and "Ruby paints a picture":
before I limped out of the library to get my dinner. Had packeted rice and then head off to his place. Timing was just so nice. I reached his place at exactly 7pm. Waha.

Lionel was fidgety yesterday. Because he hates doing assessment. The more he hates it, the more I make him do. I think I pamper him a bit on the grammar and vocabulary a little too much in the past. He's always relying on me to read difficult words to him. Tsk tsk tsk.

He can't even colour his maths homework properly la:
I think his mum heard me scolding Lionel for not paying attention and then the maid came in with a cup of herbal tea for me XD. Oops. Haha. For the uninitiated, the mum has given me the authority to scold Lionel if he doesn't listen to me. Wahahahaha.

I gave him my ultimatum: If you can't finish the assignment, no story-telling and 2 more practices for maths and English. He got scared after his whining didn't work on me and finished up his work quietly. Story-telling and more homework are my only ways to tell him to sit properly and stop rolling on his bed.

I ended class at 9pm and Lionel wanted me to stay to watch the 9pm show (Just in Singapore) with him while he supper. His younger sister, Kris joined in. With the sister sitting on my lap and Lionel leaning on me on the side, I had no way to run. It ended up with them playing wif my handphone and asking me to send weird messages and emoticons when I was replying an sms -_-.

Lionel: "Put 7 angry face! Then you type your message. Then you put 3 wif the open mouth one."
Kris: "No! I want the one wif the kissing one~~~~."

-_-

When the message was sent, they erupt into hysterical laughters and will wait by the phone to see it vibrate -_-.

"Reply liao reply liao! See what she say see what she say!" -_-

I had to put an end to the rubbish before my phone explodes from them fighting for it (Lionel refuse to let Kris hold and vice versa.

I'm gonna hide my phone elsewhere next time.
