Clearance
If you noticed, I cleared up the blog a bit. I changed a tagboard coz Fooble (issit spelt like this) totally drives me nuts sometimes. So off you go! Haha. I re-categorised my links and websites too. Now there's a category for travel blogs, one for blog shops, one for world events, one for interesting reads and of coz my regular blogroll.
I cleared a fair amount of work today at work. I should be able to leave the current office with a peaceful state of mind next Monday *beams* That is if nothing cocks up.
Went for my long-awaited facial (facialist went on maternity leave) at Hougang and cleared my face. Not that there was much to clear anyway, according to my facialist.
Cleared my mind alot when I was munching away on my KFC dinner and reading Sidney Sheldon's "The Other Side of Me":
There's nth more comforting than good old dinner with Colonel Kentucky and a good read.
Was tempted to go Bugis to shop around but I wasn't sure which stop to alight if I took Bus 80. So instead of risking ending up somewhere funny in the dead of the night, I decide to go home to do something productive.
You know how girls always say there's never enough shoes, never enough dresses, never enough..you get the drift.
It's the same for me when it comes to storage space.
I saw the aftermath-of-Hurricane-Gustav state of my room, study table and book shelves, I decide maybe I should start with clearing some junk.
I cleared off the fashion mags off my table. Lo and behold, they came up to:
2 big bags of mags! =S
Not to forget...I still have 1 plus year's worth of Queen Magazine which I still haven't found the courage to dump:
I have problems dumping old stuff. I dunno why. Hahaha. I think I will have a fantastic weekend of running through these mags and find some to dump.
And how can anyone forget the state of my bookshelf...:
Those books that are left out of the order...are new boughts. So quite apparently, my space is running low...Hahaha.
Focus on the table now. After clearing the magazines off the corner of my table, I discovered a whole stack of letters, one of which from my penpal in TaiChung (台中):
It's been 2 mths..and I haven't reply yet! =S
And my textbooks!!!!!!! ZOMG, I totally need to find some nice place to 安顿 them:
1) Stacks of tissue: bought from old ladies
2) Arty-Farty Can and memo clip from Alan
3) A380 Model from Ming Keat
4) Mouse fan from Malacca (Haha)
I am in total need of space. A LOT of space. And the dark brown cupboard at the side of my room caught my attention. It's home to all my childhood stuff:
Old School boardgames and puzzles. I can have my own Minds Cafe XD
My barbie dolls stuff!!!!! (anyway the scribblings on the cupboard were done by me as a kid...lol)
My sister has been trying very hard to get me to dump all these pinky barbie dolls stuff. But I just can't bear. I saved up money painstakingly back then (not to forget I have to put on best behaviour) to buy the ENTIRE set leh. From kitchen to living room to dining room...even baby nursery!!!!

Oh man, I don't feel like dumping them already. HAHA. But I guess, it has to be chucked bah. Or else there's totally no space for my books and other stuff =( Will do a special entry on my barbie dolls stuff once I have my mind set to clear them off. LOL.
I need some time to calm my soul ok. Those were my childhood stuff!
Ok that's about it for today. I need to:
1) Write some test papers for Lionel
2) Finish up Aunt May's thank you card together with the photos I developed today
3) TRY to finish my Excel Charts chapter
4) Write a letter back to TaiChung penpal
5) SLEEP
Long day tmr. Will be mugging at Lee Kong Chian Reference Lib Level 8 starting afternoon to evening. Anyone wants a mugging buddy can join me. Haha.
