Of timezone and a persistent fever

I left work at 1030pm yesterday night because I had to make two separate calls to New York and Chicago. Came into work at 7am today so I could call San Francisco office. I've been working across timezones for a few days and damn tired I am. At least my boss is happy with my findings - for once he doesn't deem my research "has no depth".

That aside, am battling an on-off fever for the last 4 days. The doctor can't put a diagnosis to it because I have no runny nose, bad coughs (just slight), diarrhea, or loss of appetite. He only gave me basic flu drugs and "see how it goes". In view of this, my boss has banned me from tennis tomorrow and that I should aim to get well by Monday. And he has also made it clear to everyone in office, he did not infect me with anything (because he had the same thing about 1 week ago).

Oh did I mention also I'll be moving into his huge-ass office temporarily for 5 weeks? There's a new MBA intern coming over on Monday and he's supposed to sit in with my boss. Much to my dismay, I'm the preferred candidate to be his office-mate, so the intern will be taking my current seat.

Weekend is coming! Can't wait ;-)
