Hardcore
I didn't had to click on the link to know which he was talking about. HAHA. Of course I remember! It's a poem written by Yue Fei when he was 30 - also the most celebrated on he wrote.
怒发冲冠，凭栏处，潇潇雨歇。抬望眼，仰天长啸，壮怀激烈。三十功名尘与土，八千里路云和月。莫等闲，白了少年头，空悲切！
靖康耻，犹未雪；臣子恨，何时灭？驾长车，踏破贺兰山缺。壮志饥餐胡虏肉，笑谈渴饮匈奴血。待从头，收拾旧山河，朝天阙！
He ended the message with "Hardcore eh? Haha'. Hardcore indeed. Although not as bad as what my dad used to make me do - complete secondary school higher chinese papers when I was only in primary school.
But hey, at the end of the day I have my parents and primary school teachers to thank for giving me such a strong foundation in my mother tongue.
PS: My college friends told me they learned this poem when they were 15, in their Higher Chinese class. Now THAT put things in perspective ;)
