I had an unexpected email from my ex ex boss. He was my first, and the best boss I ever had - a friend, mentor, father-figure all rolled into one. Yup, close friends of mine will know, it's V*ikram (based in Bangkok now).

"I had a call from P*aul yesterday, recounting your experience in your current firm. He mentioned you want to move/looking for opportunities. Where are you, what are you doing now? Call me ASAP. I want to know what you went through."

And I just spoke to P*aul (based in Hanoi) yesterday too.

Amazing how fast news travel.
