Lazy weekend

Here I am sitting at my messy desk, listening to Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey's "When you believe" and winding down the remaining hours of my lazy weekend.

I rolled out of bed really late on Saturday (after a late Friday night dinner with my colleague - yet another farewell meal) and decided that I'll spend my Saturday roaming the streets since the BF had to work over the weekend building credit risk stress models. Alone time! Haha. My mum wanted me to drop by the temple at 四马路 to pray for a smooth career path moving forward. However, as I spent too much time job-hunting online, I only managed out of the house door at 5pm. Too late for prayers :( Texted the BF if he wanted to catch dinner and he promised to be out of office by 8pm. So I went roaming around Bugis, devouring books in Kinokuniya (yes the annoying book hoarder at the bookstore near you) to pass time. I think I want to catch the movie "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close".

As both of us were in the mood for sinful food, we scrapped the original Mr Curry dinner for KFC! Haha. We ended the night with 爱<LOVE>. I would give it a 3.5/5 stars because some of the love stories were hard to follow but Mark Chao was too gorgeous so I'll let that slip. Hahaha. I lost count the number of times the BF rolled his eyes when I squealed like a little fangirl every time he appears.

Got up early on Sunday morning to continue job hunt and had breakfast. Decided I REALLY needed to drop by the temple so I made my way out of the house by mid after-noon. Did my prayers, asked for a lot (good one btw! Yay!) and headed off to roam the streets yet again. Started on a new book - Mojo The Book, and had early dinner with it. Spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out at Mos Burger with my book and ice milk tea before heading home.

Counting down: 2 more days till the last day at work.
Mood: Getting increasingly better. Maybe I am starting to embrace it.
