Hello, stranger in the mirror

Ok ok....everyone is telling me I should take a photo and post it here...ok ok ok...

I'm still a little swollen at the nose area but basically the lower jaw swelling has gone down almost completely. The corner of my mouth is still a little dark due to bruising during the surgery (what I heard is they use some tools to force open your mouth during the surgery.)

Ok some people commented I look kinda fair. NO. That's PALE. Lack of food I guess. And I guess invasive surgery is still damaging to the health in one way or another. Plus I am still growing haemoglobin. Hahaha...

From the picture, it's hard to believe I deflate from a pig's head to this state in mere 14 days. My OS did mention I have minimal swelling and that I am recovering at a very fast rate. Hopefully, my splint can come off faster than normal people.

Picture below: This was taken before my surgery.U can so see my upper teeth and braces.

Picture below: This is post-op. U dun see my teeth anymore. Or the white white thing u see is the splint. I had Lefort Osteotomy and lower segmental hofer osteotomy.

Which means I had 4 pre-molars pulled out:

And I had the excess bones removed and joined together with metal plates i think..hahaha

I still have trouble recognizing myself when I look into the mirror. I try to cover myself nose down so I can use my eyes to recognize myself. Ha.

I still need time to get used to the new placement of the jaws and new position of my teeth I guess.

Meanwhile, it's still "Hello stranger" for me.

Great, my mum is frying bacons now. The smell is killing me.
