Wacky games
I have never been to Minds' Cafe, always go for Settlers'.
Well, it's always good to try somewhere new =))))
We started our session with: I'M THE BOSS!
It's a game about negotiations, deals and loads of scheming businessmen.
SO much for wanting to get away from school -_-.
This is the game board:
The picture gilds are the deals available for the game, differing in numbers of investors and number of shares.
Money units and the deal details in the middle pile:
My character card:George Goldman
Kinda thought like with the name "Goldman", I might do better at deals since Goldman Sachs is a top investment bank.
HAHA.
It's a scheming game, meaning to get your deal through, you can use ways and means to send opposing investors away, bribe their family members so you can take more shares out of the deal and many other scheming ways to get the biggest pie for yourself. Lol
We closed about 10 plus deals within one hr:
And I got 31 million in wealth from being evil:
But Tuan Kiat was the richest -_-. He silently accumulated...45 million -_-
We moved on to a new game - Quelf, recommended by Ben.
Quelf:
And knowing Ben, I knew this would be a crazy game. And sure it was!
This game board:
Don't be deceived by it's short track man...because penalties for not performing the stunts or breaking rules in the middle of the game, will render you having to move a few steps backwards.
These are the cards depicting scatter brainz questions, quizzes, stunts, rules or showbiz stuff (like singing, dancing and other misc stuff). Whichever colour you land on, you pick a card from the respective pile:
The game is full of weird rules that have to carried out through-out the game, unless well it ends:
And one more is, if both characters are on the same space:
The owners of the characters must hold hand.
So the game turn into a series of hands holding session:
HAHA.
This game lasted pretty long and then we moved on to the "End of Dawn" game, which involves burying vampires! It's basically a memory game where you must remember which coffin have a vampire buried already.
The vampires:
The garlics to bury so as to sabotage people:
The cemetery:
Basically you bury vampires according to the colour of the underside of the coffin:
We played many more games after that till we were too exhausted to even think. Haha. Not bad $5 for 4 hours of games and free flow drinks! =)))
Gonna go back again one of these days =))
[Update: I just got back my FI Investments results :S B+ :S]
