It's a silver!
The efforts put in by our national players were commendable. Same for the Chinese National Team players who had the hopes and expectations of 1.3 billion people on their shoulders. Ping Pong is their national sport. Can't possibly lose this game and worst, in your home ground.
Well on my part, I think the best part was when Li Jia Wei was playing Singles against Zhang Yi Ning. Pressure was mounting on both sides; Singapore's first Gold medal/Medal since 48 years ago and the pressure on China's side for a must-win.
Then the announcer said:
"我们来为我们的客人加油！ 新加坡 加油！ 新加坡 加油！"
And so the entire crowd, including those holding the Chinese flag, chanted together with the announcer.
No wonder Beijing is being hailed as an impeccable Olympics host =)
