Excites II
Ka*thrin: "She will be getting her official desk next Monday right?"
(I sit away from my dept because of the impending renovation)
V*ikram: "Definitely. She's like you know a step child, sitting way too far from us."
(Actually, not THAT far la..just 6 steps away..haha)
Me: "It's ok V*ikram, I have a fantastic neighbour anyway. Haha"
*points at the empty desk next to me, which happened to belong to one of the Shanghainese Mgmt Trainee who's always not at her desk because she's with PR now and is constantly out of office for parties*
And so V*ikram glanced over to the empty desk and his eyes lay on the banana on the mgmt trainee's desk.
V*ikram: "You mean the banana?"
*roars of laughters*
It's nice to see Ka*thrin back in the office. She was in my position a few years back when she first joined. After her was my current manager, Be*ttina. And now that Be*ttina is being promoted, I am here to fill the position.
So just now in the office, it was like Ka*thrin was Gen 1. Be*ttina was Gen 2 and I am like Gen 3. Hahaha.
I am looking forward to my new desk! Although it means I will be sitting slightly away from the chatty and vibrant Sales department.
Now I shall go think about the decor of my new desk. Haha.
