Shanghai Trip (Nov 2015) - Day 2

Day 2 is a Sunday - and that means another one of those sloth days :D Sloth day = lazing around in bed and house till we are ready to head out.

I decided I needed to cure my stomach with a trip to Tsui Wah. We had it 3 times on my last visit and I haven't been able to forget about those fragrant pineapple buns and delicious curry pork chop since.

With our tummies full, we headed out for a walk - it was one of those rare clear days in Shanghai. On most days, you actually can't see the top part of this iconic building:

This is the other side of the more famous Shanghai Bund - where the bund is called 上海滩. The other side (where we went) is called the 后滩 - or loosely translated as the back of the bund. It was only around 3.30pm when we went there but the skies were fairly dark by then. No wonder people always feel more tired during winter period! It's just cold and dark for most parts of the day.

We took a really long walk (over an hour) and by the time we were done, we were so cold and tired we decided to just head back home. HAHAHA. Absolute sloth we were! And so another extremely uneventful day 2 of Shanghai came to an end for me!
