Things to be learned
But Korean singer Rain has totally inspired me. How he move thru' life when his dad ran away from home when he was 14, when his mum passed away when he was 18 and how he worked his way up to being the top R&B singer and actor of Korea. It was a heart wrenching story but it crought out the part of how he was determined to succeed. A young boy whose dream was to perform. How he had to live thru his penniless days when his father ran away and how he lived thru the pain of his mum's death when he was 18. The days when he worked as a back-up dancer to earn the recognition of record companies and the days when he slept only 1 hr a day just to make his moves perfect.
He has a thirst for success, a thirst for the best he can get. And tt's totally inspiring. I dun view him as an idol. I view him as a role model. Someone who works very hard but yet still humble at heart.
**Quote of the day** (quoted from the famous WONG YU HUI aka ME):
"The black keys of the piano are the downs of life. The white keys represent the ups. Only when you go thru' both, then you can hear the beautiful melody of life."
Setbacks dun pull u down, they are supposed to be the platform to give you one step up. Just like the story when I heard when I was young. There was a man who was walking along a stretch of coconut trees when on coconut fell on his head. He looked up and saw a man sitting on the tree with loads of coconuts on his hands and he was grinning. The man who got hit, could have wasted his time scolding and swearing at the guy up there and oso lament on his lousy fate of having been hit by the coconut. But he could oso have cracked the coconut and drink the delicious juice and feast on the fleshy meat. Painful things in life will have a positive meaning if you choose the right angle to look at things :)
